For me at least. Also not counting the Dart and other old cars I plan on owning. Yes I’d get them both in grey.
I think for their prices both are pretty capable and fun.

I did not know the Taco was still offered with a manual.

I knew they had a manual for the lower trims. I am surprised they have it on the TRD off road though.

Probably not ideal, but it’s what I’ve got so I’m going with it. Supercharged V8 anyone?

I thought if anything you might be able to get a 5 speed with RWD.

Yes, I’m very boring.

But not because of the grey. Grey is cool.

Upon further inspection it appears you can’t even get a RWD with manual, only 4x4.

I DON’T EVEN KNOW HOW THIS WORKS ANYMORE!

I would just want something comfortable:
and some thing light on its wheels:

At least they’re catering to the enthusiast. Most 2wd buyers are probably fleets so it makes sense to not develop and crash test with a manual when only a few weirdos will end up buying it.

Both of my choices are comfortable enough.
I mean I have a Ranger now, so things can only get better. And the Ranger isn’t that bad, but it pales in comparison to my old E34, which pales in comparison to my old Saab, which is peasant accommodations compared to my dad’s XC90.

Okay, as long as we’re dreaming. Isn’t there too much overlap with a hatchback and a four door truck? Why not get a 2 door sports car or an access cab Tacoma? Or is this one of those “I have kids” things I don’t understand yet.
Edit: Not just asking, this is relevant to my interests as I am currently thinking of reducing the fleet to a Tacoma/Miata combo.

I just don’t want one, a 2 door sports car.
I’d get the access cab Tacoma though if they made it with the rear locker (I know I’ll never use it but I still like the idea) and the other TRD bits.
I have no kids, live alone in a college dorm, and have like .8 friends.

This will do for me.

Have you driven a roadster? It’s such a wonderful type of car for driving. But you like what you like. I’ve just always thought of a hothatch as a compromise (a really good compromise, but a compromise none the less).
Btw, if I could do over college, I would have joined more clubs. You can find a lot of people who share your interests.
